The month of September brings back everyone’s favorite television shows. New seasons of The Office and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia return on Thursdays, starting September 17th. The Office, a comedy about the daily lives of cubical workers, airs on Thursdays at 9:00 p.m. on NBC. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, another comedy, airs the same day at 10:00 p.m. on FX. This show centers on a group of lowlife friends who run an unsuccessful bar in the city of Philadelphia. Both of these shows have humor packed into every second. The viewers will really cackle at the jokes the cast members make during the shows.

Along with these previously mentioned programs, a series starring Joel McHale, called Community, airs on Thursdays after the Office on NBC. Community is a brand new television series that focuses around a bunch of misfits that form a study group at a Community College. As the hilarious Joel McHale is in Community, it’s a humorous comedy that really leaves the audience laughing.

Other shows returning in September include House and Glee. New episodes of House air on FOX at 8:00 p.m. on Mondays. Catch new episodes of the brand new series, Glee, on Wednesdays at 9:00 p.m. on Fox. Glee follows a show choir club in a high school that is a bit competitive. This series is packed with musical numbers, wit, and stereotypical teenagers. It could make the viewer look at high school in a whole different way.
If homework or other activities are getting in the way of catching the newest episodes, a lot of networks have the episodes online as a way to catch up. Also, TiVos can really come in handy. And it’s important to remember that television is a nice short break from reality every once in a while.
